Weight Loss Software -The Wii Advantage

Sandy and I have been using Wii fit everyday, and I am glad to say that it is one of the high points of our day. We actually can’t wait to to start everyday.

One down side that I see is that after we go through our work out routines we end up doing other things like bowling, golf or shooting some archery. These burn a few more calories, but they are taking me away from some of my Internet time and chores around the house and plant nursery.

The challenge here is going to be like everything else involved with weight loss. Working out on the Wii needs to be part of our lifestyle change and we need to figure out how to incorporate it into everything else we want or need to do in our lives.

So far I am very happy with the Wii fit program and even though Sandy holds some of the top spots in some of the activities… I can live with that… for now :-)

Weight Loss Software Wii Fit Update 1

As promised we hooked up the Wii system and fired up the Wii Fit program last night. I’m not ready to proclaim that this is the end all to all our weight loss problems, but my first impression is a positive one.

That is if you can call having places on my body hurt that have not hurt in a long time. I would say we both over did it the first time out, but the reason is that it was so damn fun.

We are still learning everything about the program, and many of the features will not be unlocked until we reach different levels in our proficiency, which is kind of a neat feature.

I can see that after we have our fun that it’s going to become important to come up with some kind plan that we work, but this will come latter.

Will this work long term? Time will tell :-)

Weight Loss Software – Wii Fit

The wife bought the Wii system back in November and for Christmas my Son bought her the Wii Fit plus program.

My first reaction to their purchase, was not too positive… I’m not much into video games and as far as expertise equipment, well lets just say different rooms in the house are littered with everything from treadmills to the latest fade belly buster.

I often said that until they invent a piece of equipment that comes with a little man with a gun that makes you use it every day, that it’s a waste of money for us.

The Christmas tree comes down tonight and the Wii gets set-up. Let’s see where this goes from here!

Christmas Weight Loss Tips

How much weight did you lose over the holidays? Now I could lie to you and tell you I stayed the course and continues to lose weight, but that would be less than true.

The truth is I caved and had to many cookies and other good deserts, as well as too big of portions at meal time. So now what?

The way I see it I have two choices, I could beat myself up to the point where I give up, or I could get back working the program.

Which do you think I will do :-)
